Information teaching us now is that this man(Odion Makama) was one of the victims who died in the fatal accident happened along umaru musa yaradua express way Lugbe Abuja.
the accident claimed a lot of lives including a pregnant woman whose identity yet to disclose,men of the Nigeria Emergency management agency are currently battling with the situation to know if there are other passengers remaining in the bus.
The accident is said to have cause by a trailer carrying loads of tomatoes and other perishable goods and toyota hiase that belongs to one of the transport companies in nigeria,
According to an eye witness who chose to remain anonymous,told OGENE madia that the toyota bus,carrying passengers heading calaber, the cross rivers state,was trying to overtake the trailer before the accident occurred,the witness said that the trailer might have gone some mechanical fault or that the brakes are not functioning simply because as the hiase bus tried to overtake the trailer,both collided side by side leaving many passengers dead and some wounded.
  When we contacted the men of the federal road safety corp of nigeria,they confirm the inccident and warned commuters to drive with caution especially during this EMBER month and also send condolences to the victims.
As the police progress in inquiring the identities of the victims,we realized that one Odion Makama was one of the passengers,.Odion hails from cross rivers state,He said to be having his traditional marriage on the19th of sempter,being this month.this was confirmed as a called was put through to his parents who were anxiously waiting for him to return on that same day. His parents were so saddened by the tragedy because he was the only child they have,his father Mr H.M Akpono told men of the media that he wanted his son to get married early as he is the only son they have and he lamented that death has taken the only thing that gives him joy.
   Odion's body was deposited at the national hospital abuja pending when his parents are read to bury him,.the parents was so confused as to what they are going to tell his would-be wife,as you all know,someone who is preparing for her traditional wedding this weekend hears such sad story,she might commit suicide if not comforted and guided by her people.Mr H.M Akpono pleaded with the people of nigeria to please take it easy while driving on the highway as life lost can never be recorvered,he also called on the federal government to take all the necessary steps in combating the frequent accidents on our roads nationwide. may the souls of those victims rest in the bossom of the load,.
